Classification of rolling bearings

According to CGB/T271-1977 "rolling bearing classification", bearings are classified according to the following basic features: the direction of the load force that the bearing can withstand, nominal contact angle, the shape of the rolling body and structural features. Specific classification is as follows.
1. bearings according to the direction of the load it can withstand or nominal contact angle of different classifications
Bearing according to the direction of the load it can withstand or nominal contact angle of different classifications.
Nominal contact angle - refers to bearings in normal operating conditions, steel ball and inner ring and outer ring groove contact point of the normal and axis of the vertical plane between the angle called nominal contact angle, see figure 1-2.
(1) Centripetal bearings are classified according to different nominal contact angles
Radial bearings - mainly used to bear radial load rolling bearings, its nominal contact angle from 0 to 45 °. According to the nominal contact angle is different, can be divided into.
① radial contact bearings - the nominal contact angle of 0 centripetal bearings; ① angular contact radial bearings - the nominal contact angle of 0 centripetal bearings.
② Angular contact radial bearings - nominal contact angle greater than 0 ° to 45 of the bearing. (2) thrust bearings according to the nominal contact angle of different classifications
Thrust bearings - mainly used to bear axial load rolling bearing, its nominal contact angle is greater than 45 to 90 according to the nominal contact angle of different, can be divided into.
① axial contact bearings - nominal contact angle of 90 ° thrust bearings; ② angular contact thrust bearings - nominal contact angle of 90 ° thrust bearings.

② Angular contact thrust bearings - nominal contact angle greater than 45 ° but less than 90 of the thrust bearing.

(2) thrust bearing according to the nominal contact angle of different classifications
Thrust bearings - mainly used to bear axial load rolling bearing, its nominal contact angle is greater than 45 ° to 90 according to the nominal contact angle of different, can be divided into.
① axial contact bearings - nominal contact angle of 90 ° thrust bearings; ② angular contact thrust bearings

(1) ball bearings
Ball bearings - rolling body for the ball.

(2) Roller bearings

Roller bearings - the rolling bodies are rollers.

② needle roller bearings --- rolling body is needle roller bearings; ③ tapered roller bearings --- rolling body is needle roller bearings.
③Tapered roller bearings - rolling body is tapered roller bearings; ④Spherical roller bearings - rolling body is spherical roller bearings.

3.Classification of bearings according to whether they can be centred or not
Bearing according to its ability to adjust the centre, can be divided into the following categories.

(1) self-aligning bearings

Spherical bearings --- raceway is spherical, can adapt to the two raceway axis line between the angular deviation and angular motion of the bearing.

(2) Spherical bearings (rigid bearings)

Spherical bearings (rigid bearings) --- can impede the angular deviation of the axis line between the raceways bearings. 4. bearings according to the number of columns of rolling elements classification
Bearing according to the number of columns of rolling body, can be divided into the following kinds.

(1) single row bearing

Single row bearings - bearings with one column of rolling bodies.

(2) Double row bearings

Double row bearings - bearings with two columns of rolling bodies.

(3) Multi-row bearings

Multi-row bearings - with more than two rows of rolling elements and bear the same direction of load bearing, such as: three rows, four rows of bearings.
5.Classification of bearings according to whether their parts can be separated or not
Bearing according to its components can be separated, can be divided into the following types.

(1) separable bearings

Separable bearings - bearings with separable parts.

(2) non-separable bearings

Non-separable bearings - bearings in the final matching, rings can not be arbitrary free separation of bearings.

6.Classification of bearings according to their structure and shape
Bearing according to its structural shape (such as: with or without filling groove, with or without inner and outer ring and the shape of the ring, the structure of the edge, and even with or without cage, etc.) can also be divided into a variety of structural types. 7. Bearing according to its outer diameter size classification
Bearing according to its outer diameter size, is divided into.
① miniature bearings - nominal outside diameter size range of 26mm below the bearing; ② small bearings - nominal outside diameter size range of 26mm below the bearing

② small bearings - nominal outside diameter size range of 2855mm bearings; ③ small and medium-sized bearings - nominal outside diameter size range of 2855mm bearings

Small and medium-sized bearings - bearings with a nominal outside diameter of 60115mm; ④ Medium and large bearings - bearings with a nominal outside diameter of 60115mm.

④Medium and large bearings - bearings with a nominal outside diameter of 120190mm.

⑤ large bearings - bearings with a nominal outside diameter range of 200430mm; ⑥ extra large bearings - bearings with a nominal outside diameter range of 120190mm

⑥ extra-large bearings - bearings with a nominal outside diameter range of 440mm or more.
